Before I tell you about my story, I would like you to do one thing. I want you to believe on the impossible.
Can
you do that?
My
name is Jovann Spencer Cruz. They call me teacher Starks. I am an English
teacher.
Once
upon a time, on the Far East side of Burnham Lake, a maiden that has the beauty
of the Gods lives. She looks very gorgeous that every man would try and look at
her dazzling looks. She has the eyes that symbolize purity and honor. Everyman
remembered her name.
She
has the nickname of *(the woman who launched a thousand boats.)
Her
name was Patricia Okol.
It
was a rainy day. I can still remember the chilling atmosphere that rushes
through my skin. The wind breeze that charges through me. I can still remember
the man I saw. As he lighted his cigar. I would never forget that feeling, for
the first time I was scared. He looked at me with those cold eyes. I remember
now, His name was John.
As
I walked through the stairs of Cabiles Building. I saw a woman with the eyes
that was full of hope. I was a little bit hesitant to approach her at first but
eventually I did it anyway. She has the weirdest clothes that I have ever seen.
She talked very professionally at me and I tried my best to keep up. She was an
applicant that soars through the dark shadow hall. I remember now. Her name was
Mary.
Next
morning I saw a girl. She was looking left and right, trying to find the ideal
spot on where to sit. I can clearly remember her pouty lips as I was stunned by
the way she smiles at me. My heart pounded for a second trying to remember
where I was. As I walked away I looked back for a second there she goes as she
enters the building. Showing everybody how amazing she is. Her name is Joey.
As
I went back inside the building, a strange woman walked through me. She was
telling something but I got distracted by the color of her hair. It was pure
black with the wavy look. By the way she moves I can tell she was a fresh blood
in working industry. I stood by her thinking that she was interested in me. I
have never been so wrong in my life. Her name was one of a kind. It was Crisel.
Now,
our team was complete, as cliché as that sound. I just notice from the get go
that we were missing someone who can lead us. We needed a leader who can bring
us to reach new heights. So I look around, everyone on the floor was so serious
then suddenly she came. She was joking around like any other employee’s we’ve
met. We sat down and she stood upon our
eyes. I never expected someone like her to be a leader, well at least for me. She
talks like a professional teacher and make sure that everybody on the team was
listening to her. Her name was Eli or Queeny.
We
trained and honed our skills to be the best teachers in the company. We
continued to do our best for the big break that we have been preparing for.
Now, after 4 days of training ourselves, it’s finally time. Everybody was so
nervous, in my mind there was some doubts that I will never be able to perform
on a high consistent basis. As I sat down, I was getting ready for my first
lesson after 2 months of rest; I told myself that I can do this. I checked the
audio and webcam for any problems. Everything seemed normal to me. I can still
clearly hear my heart beating too fast. Kabum! Kabum! It’s time for the new
challenge.
After
my first day of work. I was so tired; I can still feel the itchy throat that
reminds me that this job is hard enough to be underestimated. I sat down
thinking on the nearby corner of the street, what are the things I did well
today? I was trying to weigh the good things and the bad things. After long
hours of thinking, I conclude that the good things outweigh the bad things. I
continued doing the exact same thing on my second and third day but this time,
it was a lot easier.
My
body feels so hot on the fourth day of work. I was trying to act normal but my
body says otherwise. My head feels like I was spinning it. After work I went
back home thinking that a good nice rest would resolve these problems. But
everything change when the clock strikes 12. I can clearly feel that my body
was so weak. I quickly took my body temperature and I finally realize I was
diagnosed with extreme high fever. Without a second thought I took my medicine
box and look for a tablet that could cure my illness. The feeling that I was
never going to be “okay” was so hard to accept to myself. Morning of that day I
tried my best to inform my teammates that I won’t be able to go to work that
day. I immediately contacted the acting supervisor but I was too late to inform
them. I went to the hospital to have a check up, the doctor informed me that I
was suffering from tonsillitis and I needed to have a 3 day complete bed rest.
I tried my best to rest as much as possible trying to gain my strength back;
unfortunately I wasn’t able to do it. But I love the job so much that I didn’t
listen to my doctor, I still went on duty just to prove to myself that nothing
can stop me if I really want something.
After
a few days I regained my strength and I was back to normal. I continued to
strive more. We continued to do more than what has been asking of us. I always
told myself that I have to love what I am doing in order for me to succeed.
Now, I can see a bright future ahead of us. Batch 4 will soon bloom from the
ground and always try our best to prove that people are wrong about us.
